Precision Meets Personalization
What to Expect During Your Restylane Treatment
Restylane fillers are long-lasting, with results varying based on the specific formula and treatment area. For long-term results, we recommend maintenance treatments tailored to your unique skin and aging process.
Before Your Treatment
To ensure the best possible results, we recommend avoiding alcohol, blood thinners, and excessive sun exposure for at least 24-48 hours before your session. Staying well-hydrated helps optimize filler integration, while an in-depth consultation with our expert injector, Cissy Wells, will help determine the best treatment plan for your facial structure and aesthetic goals.
During the Procedure
To enhance comfort, a topical numbing agent may be applied before the injections begin. Restylane is then carefully injected using a fine needle or a cannula, depending on the area being treated. The treatment is quick and precise, typically taking about 30-45 minutes. Results are immediate, with subtle improvements continuing as the filler settles.
Aftercare & Recovery
Mild swelling, bruising, or redness may occur, but these effects generally subside within a few days. It’s important to avoid excessive heat, alcohol, and strenuous exercise for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment to minimize swelling and promote optimal healing. Staying hydrated and applying ice packs as needed can help reduce any temporary swelling.
How Restylane Compares to Juvéderm & Sculptra
Not sure which filler is right for you? During your consultation, we’ll recommend the best treatment based on your facial anatomy, skin quality, and long-term aesthetic goals.
Restylane vs. Juvéderm
- Both are hyaluronic acid-based fillers
- Juvéderm has a smoother consistency, while Restylane has a firmer texture, making it better for sharper definition in certain areas
- Restylane typically lasts slightly longer in some areas but absorbs water less than Juvéderm, leading to different volumizing effects
Restylane vs. Sculptra
- Restylane provides instant volume, whereas Sculptra works gradually by stimulating collagen over time.
- Sculptra lasts 2+ years, while Restylane typically lasts 6-18 months depending on the formula.
- Restylane is ideal for quick corrections and precise contouring, while Sculptra is best for deep volume restoration and long-term skin tightening.
